Bio

Massimo Pennacchini is an artist who had the honesty to take the difficult path that leads to the contemporary figurative painting, a field in which you can weigh and evaluate, for better or for worse, the criteria of  competence and artistry. In 1998 he was selected by the DINERS CLUB ITALY to illustrate the company calendar; in the same year he is called to represent the ‘Italy in the city of Offenbach (D) in the international exhibition “Galerie in turm”.

Curriculum

Massimo Pennacchini is an artist who had the honesty to take the difficult path that leads to the contemporary figurative painting, a field in which you can weigh and evaluate, for better or for worse, the criteria of  competence and artistry. In 1998 he was selected by the DINERS CLUB ITALY to illustrate the company calendar; in the same year he is called to represent the ‘Italy in the city of Offenbach (D) in the international exhibition “Galerie in turm”. The real consecration in the contemporay art world is recognized by the program “Alitalia per l’Arte” that offers worldwide artist selected to witness the Italian culture at international airports italian and foreign. In 2002 at the Malpensa airport in Milan, and in 2003 at the Leonardo da Vinci of Rome and ‘Marco Polo Airport in Venice. In 2005 his works Polo Airport in Venice. In 2005 his work were installed in the VIP lounges of JF Kennedy Airport in New York. The theme of the “tango”, so full of creative stimuli and a life of such a force, it scored no doubt much of its production and has meant to be nicknamed “The painter of the Tango”. Racial integration, communication, passion, sensuality are key players of his artistic career. After meeting with the greatest dancer of Argentine tango in the world, Miguel Angel Zotto, was born a partnership that sees expose in the major theaters of the world in its collaboration with the great artist, then in 2008 he performed respectively at City Center in New York, at the Peacock Theatre in London and the Teatro Astalia of Buenos Aires. Many works are installed permanently at the ’Open space of MAZ. in Buenos Aires. Meanwhile he participated in numerous art fairs in Italy and all ‘foreign.

In 2009, the gallery La Meridiana di Pietrasanta. From 2010 to 2013 Konstanz (D) Lake Constance hosts Pennacchini in an exhibition dedicated to a small group of contemporary Italian artists, the works are installed at Burgersaal in ’event’ italianische Gegenwartskunst. In May 2011, files to Hangzhou (Cina) to represent Italy with the project “Following the path of Marco Polo”, two works are on permanent display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Hangzhou (China) host selected works in many exhibitions.

There are many reviews concerning him, among all, we mention “SIGNATURE”, “CHARM”, “ART”, “Art & trA” “CULTURAL EVENTS” “EFFECT ART” “IN ART” and magazines of international style. The works of Pennacchini are in numerous private and public collections, in Italy as in Germany, France, England, Switserland, USA, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina and Russia.
